Hello and a warm welcome from Mrs Thorpe

A warm welcome back to one and all, post the Christmas break. We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. We have had a terrific start already to this academic year; let us hope 2020 brings us all even more successes.

In Year 3/4, we are all raring to go for another exciting and inspiring year packed full of new learning and new experiences!
We are looking forward to the children engaging with our new Big Question
Shhh….. Who goes there? which has a scientific theme.
We will be looking at electricity as part of our topic. This will link with
the real-life experiences occurring around the globe as well.

This term’s class novel is: Wild Robot a story of Rozzum unit 7134,
a robot who wakes up for the very first time to find that she's alone on a
remote, wild island. Roz doesn't know how she got there, or where she came
from: she only knows that she wants to stay alive.

I will as always make every effort to meet the needs of every child in my class and endeavour to make this classroom a really enjoyable environment for the children to spend their time in.

Kind Regards,
Mrs Thorpe & the year 3 & 4 team
