We believe that the care each child receives here is vital to the success of his or her education.
We create a friendly, open atmosphere in which we value those we work with, both children and adults, and show that we appreciate their work and their endeavours.
It is important to our school community that we make provision for all.
We are as interested in your child’s progress in school as you are. We keep regular records that you are welcome to read (subject to prior notice). Teachers will often be available for a quick informal update, but if you have any concerns, please do speak to your child’s class teacher. It will help us if we know of any specific reasons, e.g. illness or an emotional upset that may affect your child’s progress at a particular time.
Mrs Ballance – Headteacher – is also pleased to talk with parents about any concerns, as informal discussion at the early stages of a problem can often prevent it developing further.
Consultation evenings are held in the Autumn and Spring terms to provide a more formal discussion of your child’s progress. A written report is sent to all parents in the summer term.
